Designers and design students — whether working independently or as part of a firm or team — are welcome to enter.​

ELIGIBILITY

We invite architects, designers, contractors/builders, design-build partnerships and architecture students to submit detached ADU (DADU) designs suitable for aging-in-place.

WEBINARS

We're offering two free webinars to help participants understand the basics of universal design, the competition scope, design criteria, and submission process. The first webinar will review the design criteria, and submission process. The second webinar will dive deeper into designing for aging in place. Visit the Webinar page to register for the webinars and view recordings will be made available after each session.
